Topaz Signature Pad SigWeb Browser API
The Topaz Signature Pad SigWeb Browser API can be used in the following browsers...
- Firefox 10+
- Chrome 16+
- Internet Explorer 9+
To be able to use the Topaz Signature Pad in a web browser, the Topaz SigWeb Browser API must be installed on your computer.
- If you do not have this SigWeb Browser API installed, it can be downloaded and installed by following the instructions below.
Once the download has completed, run the downloaded setup program to install the plugin.
Downloading in Internet Explorer
- Internet Explorer will prompt you to run or save the file. Click "Run".
Downloading in Chrome
- If you are asked to save the setup program, click "Save".
- A download button will appear at the bottom of the Chrome window. Click this button to launch the setup program.
Downloading in Firefox
- If you are asked to save the setup program, click "Save File".
- Open the Firefox Downloads Library by clicking on the down arrow in the right of the address bar..
- Click on "sigweb.exe" to launch the setup program.
- Click "Next" from the Welcome window.
- Select "T-L" for the Tablet Model Group and click "OK".
- Select "T-LBK460 or T-L460" for the Tablet Model and click "OK".
- Select "HSB (USB type) for the Connection Type and click "OK".
- Click "Agree" from the License Agreement window.
- If prompted, install the Microsoft .NET framework. (If this is already installed on your computer, you will not be asked to install this.)
- Click "Next" on the SigWeb installation folder screen.
- Click "Next" on the SigWeb Setup Wizard screen.
- Click "Next" on the SigWeb Confirm Installation screen.
- The installation progress will show.
- Click "Close" on the SigWeb Installation Complete screen.
- Click "Finish" from the Installation Complete Window.
 If you are using Internet Explorer 11 and the SigWeb Browser API is still not working, following the steps below may correct the problem.
- Open IE 11
- Click Tools --> Internet Options
- Click on Security
- Click on Trusted Sites
- Click on the Sites button
- Uncheck the "Require Server Verification (https:) for all sites in this zone" checkbox
- Type "https://*.rainhail.com" into the "Add this website to the zone" text box
- Click the Add button
- Click Close
- Click OK to close the Options window
- Re-start IE 11
 If you have installed the SigWeb Browser API but you are still seeing "The Topaz Signature Pad software can not be found." (as shown below), you may need to update the certificate. Follow the steps below to update your SigWeb Certificate.

- Visit https://www.topazsystems.com/sigweb.html
- Click the link in the gray box containing the text "Topaz recommends keeping your SigWeb SSL certificate up-to-date. To do so, download the SigWeb Certificate Updater."
- Run the executable that downloads (it does not prompt you to answer installation questions).
- Once that is finished, refresh your browser and try using the signature pad again.
