When disaster strikes and Chubb Agribusiness agents and policyholders are facing a loss, our Claims Department responds quickly to restore peace of mind and ensure business continuity to our valued customers. The role of our Claims staff is simple yet critical – to provide fair, prompt and professional service.

Chubb Agribusiness' claims staff has a varied background and has seen and handled every type of agricultural claim that can befall a business or individual. Training at both the individual and department level is a high priority and is conducted with regularity. Caseloads are closely managed to ensure quality attention is given to the needs of every agent and customer. Our responsibility to investigate, evaluate and resolve claims with expediency and integrity is taken very seriously and we share a sense of pride in our finished product. We consider each claim an opportunity to build a relationship with our customers that is positive, earning your trust and business for years to come. Once a claim is reported, Chubb Agribusiness Claims uses the opportunity to acknowledge receipt of the claim, introduce ourselves and provide contact information, and to provide a preview of the claims process. We are proud of the fact that we contact the insured and all identified claimants within 8 business hours of the receipt of the claim in 98.3% of all claims we receive.

For the most efficient Claims service, it is important to report your loss to Chubb Agribusiness as soon as possible so we encourage you to report claims as follows:

  • Email a completed ACORD form to: claims@chubbagribusiness.com. This is the fastest and most efficient way to get a claim into our system and assigned to an adjuster, at which point we start the process described above.
  • Fax an ACORD form to: 800.334.4009
  • If you are reporting a claim outside of regular business hours or on holidays or weekends please call 800.585.9624 and select Option 9. Your call will be answered live by our 24/7/365 Claims Intake Unit and the claim will be assigned to a field adjuster who will begin attempting to contact the insured immediately.
