Let Bushel and Rain and Hail's technology do the work. Our partnership with Bushel makes production and claims processing simple and easy.

Bushel is a mobile platform that works with grain elevators to provide policyholders free access to their production information through a mobile application. Rain and Hail’s partnership with Bushel enables growers to link their Bushel-powered grain elevator with Rain and Hail's systems. The best part? It only takes moments.

Once linked, scale tickets are tracked and stored in real-time. Policyholder's production data gets uploaded hourly into Rain and Hail's Agent Services. The production data makes production reporting a breeze by importing the connected scale tickets into our processing system. If there is a claim, our adjusters have access to the same information, ensuring fast and accurate claims processing for policyholders.

  1. Start by logging in to your Policyholder Services account in the upper-right corner of www.RainHail.com.
    1. Don’t have a Policyholder Services account? It’s easy to sign up!
  2. Under My Policy Summary on the home page of Policyholder Services, select Partner Connections.
  3. Click Bushel Electronic Scale Tickets, and then the Connect Accounts button.
  4. Enter your mobile phone number. It must be the same phone number that is associated with your Bushel-powered grain elevator.
  5. Then select Send Code.
  6. You will receive the code via text message. Enter in the code. Note: It is case sensitive.
  7. Select Access Accounts.
  8. Select the account(s) you want to connect. They will be listed as you named them in your Bushel-powered grain elevator account. It may be one or several. Then select Submit.
  9. That’s it! You’ll receive a message that your changes have been saved. Select Return to Rain and Hail, and you’ll see it now says Connected next to Bushel.
