Insurance Specialist Internship - Summer 2025
Our summer internship program offers the chance to have practical, real-world experience at one of the largest, most respected crop insurance companies in the industry. As a part of the program, you will have the opportunity to work on business specific projects where you will gain knowledge and experience to supplement and strengthen your academic skills. This program encompasses a 360-degree tour of our lines of business, including hands-on projects in a variety of disciplines, interactive classroom instruction, team assignments and direct interaction with our senior executives. You will learn the field claims side of the business as well as the marketing side.
We are seeking a self-motivated, energetic, and result-oriented intern to join our team from June to early August of 2025. In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of our claims and marketing side of the business where you will have classroom as well as field experience.
Desired Qualifications:
• Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in any major will be considered.
• Students who have completed their junior year preferred.
• Strong GPA; 3.0 or higher preferred.

Marketing Manager - Southern Division
The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and leading a team of field staff in a specific geographic region with the goal of building and growing our crop insurance market share. This position is responsible for training and developing field staff, building a high performing team and growing premium within the division. The Marketing Manager will also work with field staff and clients to develop and maintain new and existing relationships in the market. This position is active in the office and in the field.
The Marketing Manager’s core responsibility is to lead the division’s sales, distribution and training efforts. They are responsible for implementing and executing internal sales processes, driving profitable growth and instilling a sales culture within the division. The Marketing Manager assists the Division Manager with strategic planning and execution and effectively manages the distribution channel via agency planning, new appointments, terminations and increased penetration in alignment with Rain and Hail’s growth and profit goals.
